eBay makes its Christmas presence felt

Sydneysiders were treated to a world first shoppable windows installation in December 2014, to help last minute shoppers in the build up to Christmas. Featuring four bespoke rooms containing actors and filled with eBay retail products;  the eBay shoppable windows installation was created to offer gift inspiration over the busiest online shopping weekend of the year. Built on Customs House Forecourt, Sydney, the rooms were wrapped with ribbon and giant LED bows to look like Christmas presents, and embedded with touch screens where passers by could view and email the product collections. With beautiful interior design, fake snow falling, Christmas scent wafting through the forecourt and festive carols on rotation; the installation created an interesting festive twist on the eBay shopping experience. The campaign strategy was conceived by Pulse Communications who conducted a PR campaign resulting in articles on online shopping appearing across more than ten major publications, including widespread online coverage and news reports on Channel 7  and Channel 10.
