LiveWorks in conjunction with Mindshare Performance and Val Morgan have developed a highly effective approach towards the impactful Live In-Cinema advertising mechanism.
Having staged a series of high profile campaigns for such clients as Tourism South Africa, 42 Below, Air New Zealand, Swindburn University and Tourism New Zealand, we are uniquely positioned to deliver maximum impact, maximum reach live cinema campaigns.
Due to its unique nature, Live In-Cinema works on extremely high spontaneous recall rates (estimated to be close to 100%). The mechanism has the added benefits of being highly PR-able (press available on request) and causing extensive word-of-mouth.
In terms of reach, we work closely with Val Morgan to schedule the live ad into as many screens as possible on a promotional day. So, depending on a client’s budget, we will set up a number of teams of rehearsed performers each of which has a trained Event Manager. This team will literally go from one screen to the next (within their designated complex), doing as many live ads as the start times of each movie will allow for. We work on an average of 300 people per showing. Hence during the course of a promotional day, one team will reach an average of 4500 people.
We work on a conservative average of 15 live ads per complex per day. This is assuming a start time of around midday (although with a kids promotion we could begin with whatever the first screening of the day is). Working closely with the agencies and CSA, we select high profile releases. This, combined with the fact that the client’s ad is edited into the last spot on the ad reel, ensures that we are getting to the maximum possible number of people.
Having performed the live ad, we can then sample or leaflet the audience exiting their movie.
