We all know there’s a gorgeous view across the harbour from Taronga Zoo, but did you know there’s a stellar concert series lined up for the venue in 2019?
Across six summer weekends, the zoo will play host to musical artists ranging from The Whitlams, You Am I and Magic Dirt to Xavier Rudd and Vera Blue, plus comedy gala shows featuring the Umbilical Brothers, Dave Hughes, Cal Wilson and more. Grab tickets here.
Star Wars Identities Exhibition
Until 10th June
This one’s already kicked off, but there’s still plenty of time to indulge your inner Star Wars nerd at the Powerhouse Museum!
This fun interactive exhibition features 200 original Star Wars objects and allows you to generate a unique SW character of your own to ‘meet’ at the end of the experience. Grab tickets here.
Sydney Film Festival
If you’re a film buff, you won’t want to miss the 2019 Sydney film festival. With over 200 films screened across multiple venues, there’s something for every movie lover.
The full program will be announced in May, so stay tuned here to see what’s on offer this year.
The Colour Run
Known as ‘the happiest 5K on the planet’, The Colour Run is way more fun than your regular jog. The idea is simple: you roll up to the starting line dressed head-to-toe in white, then get ready to be showered in brightly coloured powder at every kilometre mark!
The 2019 Colour Run details are yet to be announced, but if you sign up for the mailing list at The Colour Run website, you’ll get the heads-up on when to register.
